Welcome – Share Your Vision

Greetings! Most likely you’re here because you’ve just watched the “Beyond Consuming” video.

So first, a quick word about where things stand today.  Suddenly the word on the street and in the media is that our recession is nearly over. On the one hand, that’s great news. On the other hand, it could also be a tragedy.

If we breathe a collective sigh and simply return to our gobbly ways, a great opportunity will have been lost. We’ll have rearranged those proverbial deck chairs on the Titantic. Sink we will, and soon.

Unless we imagine our way into a different future. And that’s where you come in. This blog is your blog. Please use the comments section to share your thoughts, feelings, poems, brainstorms and questions about the world beyond consuming.

What will it look like? How shall we live? If not consumption, and rampant growth, on what will our society be based? The future isn’t a done deal yet, no matter how dire it seems, so dream away and share what comes.

Plus, you’re gratefully invited to contribute audio, images and video. Use your hands. Your voice. Your tech. Show us something. Teach us something. Get us  a little closer to a world beyond consuming.
